The 5th Annual Effective Speaking Contest 2012 was completed on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Council Chamber in Markham Civic Centre! Ontario York Region Heritage Lions Club has just held the 5th annual Effective Speaking Contest 2012 on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Council Chamber in Markham Civic Centre. The objective of the Contest is to promote effective public speaking, self expression, and to stimulate individual thinking among students of Grades 4 to 12.
