Effective Speaking Contest 2008

The Effective Speaking Contest was successfully held on February 2, 2008 at the Council Chamber of Markham Civic Centre.

Junior Division:

1st place: Shannon Wong (Topic: Turning Point)

2nd place: Emily Chan (Topic: Obstacles in schools for diabled)

3rd place: Justin Mao (Topic: Why hockey is not the national sports of Canada)

Senior Division:

1st place: John Lau (Topic: Popularity of social networking web sites)

2nd place: Yannis Wong (Topic: Health : DIets + Nutrition)
