August 2008 | Wii Play 2Gether Tournament

The Ontario York Region Heritage Lions Club will be hosting the 2^nd annual “Wii Play 2Gether” a fun-filled family tournament with the Nintendo Wii console.  This year the event is co-organized with Milliken Mills Lions Club and Oak Ridges Lions Club.

Any team of two players from two generations in the same family can register to play. The tournament winners will receive a brand new Wii console. Prizes will be awarded for other finalists.

The tournament will consist of four preliminary rounds at community centers in the York Region area during the month of August and a finale at Bayview Hill Community Centre on August 24^th, 2008. The preliminary rounds will begin at 2pm on each date, held at the following community centers:

Aug 9^th    Bayview Hill Community Center (OYRHLC)

Aug 10^th  Angus Glen Community Center (Milliken Mills Lions Club)

Aug 16^th  Bayview Hill Community Center (OYRHLC)

Aug 23^rd  Bond Lake Arena, 70 Old Colony Dr.

              Oak Ridges, ON (Oak Ridges Lions Club)

Finals:

Aug 24^th  Bayview Hill Community Center (OYRHLC)

The goals of the event are:
 1)  to provide an opportunity to strengthen parent-child   bonds.
