To goals of the event were:
1) to provide an opportunity to strengthen parent-child bonds.
2) to advocate the importance of family values and family time through a friendly and fun Wii competition.
3) to encourage youth to embrace good sportsmanship and increased social interaction while doing something they enjoy.
