At our 1st Charter Celebration Dinner, our Club was presented the District A16 District Governor's Trophy by District Governor Lion Dick Peel to the Board of Directors in recognition to the Club's innovative service activities for 2007/2008.

The Effective Speaking Contest was successfully held on February 2, 2008 at the Council Chamber of Markham Civic Centre.
