We had our 2nd annual "Purina Walk for Dog Guides" walkathon at the beautiful Toogood Pond Park in Unionville on Sunday, May 27, 2012.
Thank you to the walkers, dog owners and dogs, and supporters joining the event.

The Heritage Lions bowling team were at the Bowl for Kids Sake event supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of York on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Club 300 in Markham.
This is the 5th year that our Bowling team participated in the event in support to Big Brothers Big Sisters of York. Our team won a draw prize from the tickets for getting spares and strikes during the games.
The Ontario York Region Heritage Lions Club held the 5th annual Effective Speaking Contest 2012 on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Council Chamber in Markham Civic Centre. Over 100 people attended the event listening to the contestants' speeches.

Heritage Lions were out at Toogood Pond Park picking up garbage and cleaning up the Park. This was the semi-annual event Heeritage Lions hve been carrying out since adopting Toogood Pond Park in 2008.
This was the 3rd annual Tree Planting event that Heritage Lions Club held together with Evergreen and Town of Markham. We planted 270 trees at Austin Drive Park on the day.
Ontario York Region Heritage Lions Club celebrated its 4th Charter Anniversary on July 23, 2011 at the Canada Room in Markham Civic Centre.
